Educational Therapists of New England (ETNE) is comprised of
four educational therapists who are experienced in working with children, adolescents,
and adults
with
suspected
or diagnosed
learning disabilities, attentional disorders, and comorbid (co-existing) conditions,
all of which contribute to difficulties in school, the workplace, and in relationships.
ETNE
professionals provide interventions in academic skills, including
dyslexia, speech and language therapy, and executive functioning skills. Educational
diagnostic assessment can be provided, accompanied by recommended intervention.
Most importantly, our educational therapists recognize the stress
and anxiety that often underlie difficulty with learning and functioning, making
appropriate referrals when necessary. The emotional impact on learning and
functioning is not minimized nor compartmentalized, but rather accepted and
addressed as part of the gestalt of self in virtually every arena of life.
We
welcome your calls, your emails, your questions, and most of all look forward
to meeting with you!
